About In-Home Private Ukulele Lessons

Ukulele is a fun and approachable way to start making music, and lessons can move as casually or as seriously as the student wants. I offer personalized in-home ukulele lessons for kids, teens, and adults throughout the Portland metro area.

Beginners can learn tuning, basic chords, chord changes, strumming patterns, rhythm, simple melodies, and recognizable songs. More experienced students can work on fingerpicking, more advanced chords, songwriting, ear training, music theory, and developing their own playing style.

Rather than spending every lesson working through a generic method book, I like using songs and music the student actually enjoys whenever possible. The goal is to build solid musical skills while keeping the instrument fun to pick up and play.

Now offering in-home ukulele lessons in:

Portland, Beaverton, Tigard, Tualatin, Hillsboro, Sherwood, Lake Oswego, Newberg, West Linn, Oregon City and Wilsonville
